Reaction of zirconium powder with hydrogen

Zirconium easily absorbs hydrogen and forms a variety of zirconium hydride mesophase. When the temperature is higher than 300 ℃, zirconium reacts with hydrogen. When the temperature reaches 400 ℃, the reaction speed is accelerated and solid solution is formed. The ignition point and ignition energy of zirconium powder with different hydrogen content are different. When the hydrogen content in zirconium powder is less than 0.01%, the ignition point is the same as that of ordinary zirconium powder. When the hydrogen content is greater than 0.5%, the ignition point increases. The relationship between ignition point of zirconium powder and hydrogen content is shown in Table 1.
